Partners Meeting and Seminar in Paris

The beautiful city of Paris hosted the second event of the project ‘Greener Futures for Young People’ on the 11th, 12th and 13th of April 2012. Led by ASPP, staff and beneficiaries from Action with Communities in Rural Kent, Diagrama Foundation Spain and UK and Basta from Sweden have visited French organisations with a difference.

Our first day was spent visiting projects and we are extremely grateful to Coopaname and Le Petit Bain for their welcome and their sharing of their inspiring models of social entrepreneurship and integration.

On the second day, we held our steering group meeting in the premises of another social enterprise, MAS, where we stayed to enjoy lunch in their impeccably run restaurant.  Our meeting had a full agenda and remains a very important part of the project in order to monitor progress and finance, adjust directions and re-distribute tasks. The presentation of our new website by Diagrama Spain gathered strong praise from all partners.

On the last day we held our conference entitled:  ‘L’entreprise à vocation sociale : point d’entrée dans l’emploi ? Clefs de la réussite… ‘/  ‘Enterprises with social vocation as the first access point to employment? Success measures…’

Held in the Diaconesses de Reulilly, the conference’s programme was as follows:
